I recorded this song only because I loved it. My wife and I flew to Nashville to record it with a friend I've known since we were in the Navy Bands together in the '60's, legendary studio pianist, Ron Oates. I knew he would be perfect for it as he was. My wife and I arrived, got together with Ron, learned the song, called the studio and booked the studio, went in and cut the song all that same day. What you hear is exactly as we recorded it live on that day. - Dan
