He is on the list of "AMERICAN JAZZ TRUMPETERS," and has toured extensively in Asia, Mexico, Canada, Europe and the United States, performing on the world stage with big bands, jazz combos and public touring acts since 1966.

As a soloist and/or section player, he has performed, toured and/or recorded with headliners such as Bob James, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Wayne Newton, Johnny Mathis, Linda Rondstadt, Aaron Neville, Mel Tormé, The Four Tops, The Lettermen, Kenny Rogers, Bobby Vinton, Woody Herman, Gene Krupa, The U.S. Navy Band, Various Los Angeles bands and individual artists, Wayne Bergeron, Bill Watrous, Ron Eschete, Al Green, Bobby Shew, Chuck Findley, Greg Gisbert, Gerald Wilson, Jon Faddis, Pascal Bokar, Joe Locke, Walt Johnson and many others.
FESTIVALS:
As a featured soloist he has performed at Jazz Festivals around the U.S. such as: The Newport Beach Jazz Festival, Long Beach Jazz Festival, Los Angeles jazz Festival, Vancouver Festival d’ete, Montreal Jazz Festival, Boise Jazz Festival, Suttons Bay Jazz Festival, Lansing Old Town Jazz Festival, The Alpenfest, The Live Music Festival in Orange County, Nashville JazzFest, Freedom Jazz Festival, and more.
AWARDS:
Dan received the award for "OUTSTANDING SOLOIST" at the Notre Dame Music Festival in 1968 and DOWNBEAT MAGAZINE wrote a positive review of his performance.
Dan was the featured jazz soloist on a CD entitled, "Adventure Accidentele" which won the Canadian Music Awards highest honor, THE JUNO.

Dan played for a live concert broadcast on CBC, Canada in 2005 with the "JUNO" award-winning artist, "Daniel Hebert." Dan was a featured trumpet soloist on the CD.
Dan has studied with trumpet greats such as Bobby Shew, Roger Ingram, Clark Terry, Jack Sheldon, Bill Chase and others.
Also as a Navy musician, Dan was honored to be asked to participate in the funeral services in Washington DC, for President John F. Kennedy in 1963.
In addition to his ongoing live performance activities, he has also produced or co-produced over 30 albums by others in addition to the four albums of his own music.
